There's treasure buried in books. Interested in griot audio books or rare book buys? You can hear a whole new world. You know what? Books hold knowledge about new subjects or areas we already enjoy.
I love to teach and have been both a literacy tutor and a dyslexia coach. And I believe there are always skills you can learn to make living in this world of the written word just a little bit easier.
You dont need to feel alone
There isn't a special club you need to belong to in order to gain the knowledge available in books. Or just to enjoy a fun story.
I've listened to lots of audio books that I would never take the time to read and I'm a regular paced reader. Did you know that many people like to read and yet still love to listen to audio books? Even those who wander in bookstores featuring old and rare books.
Information is useful and powerful. But it doesn't have to be painful to get it. Everyone knows that many of the secrets of the world, including business and general knowledge are buried in books.
And so many wonderful stories - both fun and light, and the more serious ones, can be listened to on audio books.
Remember story time? Did you enjoy having someone read fun stories to you?
Since my husband's gotten into audio books he gets to read what he wants, not just what Im reading. I've read a lot to my husband. He's brilliant, but he's dyslexic and reading isn't that much fun for him.
We looked in the library but didn't find too many audio books that either of us liked. So we really appreciate good selection. Including self-publishing and short run books.
You'll love to share new books with other people whenever possible and audio books are just another form. Many popular books are released with the spoken word CD version at the same time.
It's great to have the audio books in your own library so that friends can borrow them for as long as they need to. And youll get to re-hear your favourite books whenever you want to.
